Contest Information

J.Wiltz’s short play “Do Not Collect $200” continues here in the Exile Game – an ongoing writing contest which allows you, the readers, to determine how things will turn out. Winners receive $200 and have their work added to the permanent script. The deadline for the next round of script submissions is January 1st, 2008.

How the Exile Game is Played

1. Read the existing script.

2. Think of what you would like to see happen next. Then, picking up where the last line leaves off, write your own 10-page script and move the story forward. (Feel free to introduce new characters, take some of the old ones out, etc. The story is officially in your hands.)

(see FAQ for details.*Note: A portion of the proceeds from the Exile Game will be donated to Alex's Lemonade Stand for pediatric cancer research.) If you are submitting by mail, please include a check or money order payable to Gemini Hills.

5. Check back with the site to see if your entry is selected to become a part of the permanent script. Winners will be announced on the 3rd of every month.
